We are pleased to share with you an invitation extended to you by Ms Kazumi Ogawa, Director of the Bureau of Human Resource Management, on the occasion of the online meeting on the Young Professional Programme for 2021-2022, scheduled to be held on Thursday, 29 April next from 1 pm to 2 pm, to provide information on the profiles, the process and the timetable and respond to any question which may be raised..

Please also find attached, for your information, the list of Non and Under-Represented Member States within UNESCO’s Secretariat. The roll-out of this meeting as well as the link to join us on 29 April next will be sent to you soon.

The Young Professional Programme is one of the flagship initiatives to improve geographical representation in UNESCO. As such, we will soon be launching the recruitment campaign for the Young Professional Programme for 2021-2022. A call for applications will be issued in early May to all National Commissions of Non- and Under-Represented Member States. While initially, we will launch the programme with a small pool of posts, we will continue to identify additional posts to be added to the pool in the coming months, as has been the practice in past years.
